Check out some of our recent work and education on the blog!

Madison & Ricky planned their epic Vegas elopement - but with us being here in Las Vegas and them being based in LA, we didn't have the chance to do some engagement photos before their wedding (well months before haha). So when they came our a few days early, we headed out to the desert to get in some fun engagement photos that totally fit their Wild Vegas elopement vibes perfectly!

Maddy wore the most epic sequin dress and looked like a total freaking babe while Ricky looked incredible slick in his pink suit, which also tied in perfectly with their pink wedding theme (more on that to come!)

We obviously wanted to bring out the mustang for their shoot, and I am so glad we did because it was fun, so glam, with the perfect touch of vintage. I mean no matter how modern and chic your wedding style may be, if you are getting married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Downtown Las Vegas, then your wedding has a touch of vintage Vegas no matter what! We loved every moment of this shoot, but especially loved getting to hang out with Maddy and Ricky before their big day and get to know them. It's so much more fun going to a wedding where you have gotten to know the couple a little before showing up!

So besides showing you some amazing photos to inspire your engagement shoot in the desert - this is also to say that even though you are eloping, it doesn't mean you can't get some awesome engagement photos! Or if you didn't get any, it's still not too late to do them just 2 days before your wedding! Trust us, you will never regret an awesome photoshoot in the desert with your boo!

XOXO,

Rooftop Parking Garage First Look

Monica & Brian has an intimate wedding at the Sure Thing Wedding chapel in Downtown Vegas on 4/3/21, a fun date indeed - and wanted their wedding to have all the Vintage Vibes of Vegas in the 50's. Their wedding was gorgeous, glamorous, intimate, and just all around so much fun! From renting an awesome 50's Chevy Crestline in sexy red that just matched perfectly with her sliver sequin wedding dress and bold red lips.

Their day started with a first look at the top of a rooftop parking garage downtown, cause why not? We walked them down from their hotel separately, and then took a few more shots before they got picked up in their vintage car and headed Downtown for some more photos in front of colorful murals. The photos included in epic Champagne pop, because everyone should pop some champagne on their wedding day and spray it for some fun and memorable photos! Being an elopement photographer in Las Vegas means using wild and epic locations like parking garages and downtown alleys filled with street art for photoshoot backdrops!

Sure Thing Wedding Chapel Elopement

After we had captured some fun and vintage photos of the gorgeous couple on their wedding day, we headed to the Sure Thing Wedding chapel for a beautiful intimate ceremony with their friends and family. "Surely" the pink elephant showgirl officiated their ceremony, and it was everything a Vegas elopement should be! Fun, quick, and filled with so much love and zero stress!

Vegas Test Kitchen Micro Wedding Reception

Just because you elope in Vegas, doesn't mean that you can't have an awesome send off - like this fun bubble exit from the chapel! Bubbles are the new sparkler send off... because they are SO MUCH EASIER and not as dangerous as some of the sparkler send offs we have captured! Their wedding day ended with a fun reception in the back of Vegas Test Kitchen, including some of their favorite foods, and fresh wood fired pizzas. When blending two families and two cultures, why not have the best of both worlds, and when I say that I mean sushi and meatballs?! Also - the more dessert the better! For their ceremony & reception, they had THE BEST music... Sorry In Advance dueling violins. They played so many amazing hits on the violin and harp and seriously kept the party BUMPING!

Natalie & Ben's elopement story is one for the books! After having to postpone their destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico, they decided to fly across the country from NY to Vegas to elope. And when I say elope, I mean it in the traditional sense of the word... it was a total secret from EVERYONE they knew! They had the most beautiful little ceremony planned, just them two saying "I do" in front of the cutest pink chapel at Cactus Joe's Nursery in Blue Diamond, Nevada, and a handful of strangers. Luckily we got to be two of those strangers, but by the end of the night we were all fast friends! Nothing brings people together than spending one of the biggest days of their lives together!

It was a wild day forsure, they booked us for their elopement only the day before, but I am so thankful that we had the day open (the only one we had all month!) and were able to capture their elopement because it was a day I will never forget! I am excited to share this video because it is slightly different than our other videos. Natalie really wanted a film look, with real super 8mm film, but unfortunately we didn't have any on hand. So we shot the entire day on digital and really used the power of editing to give their film that vintage feel. Every aspect of their day had that elegant and vintage vibe, from her dress, shoes and hair, to the vintage convertible. Being able to really understand what our client wants and editing their film to their unique style is something we really pride ourselves on. We are no cookie cutter wedding videographers, every film is edited for hours on end to really tell the story of the couple. No two love stories are the same, just as no two wedding films are the same.

For those interested in booking us for their wedding, you have come to the right place to learn a little bit more about our process. We are wedding videographers in Las Vegas, meaning we get tons of elopements like Nat & Ben's, but we also get many larger weddings. If you are looking for someone to just show up, put a camera on a tripod and press record, we are not the videographers for you. We really get to know you before the day, and go above and beyond to tell your story. We spend a lot of time finding the PERFECT song, getting the colors right, and making sure the shots we choose really make you feel something when you watch the film. Our goal is to make someone who has never met our couples be able to watch their wedding film and "get the feels", if you will. I have your vows memorized by the time we are done with the edit, and I could recite every word when I watch it. That's how into the editing process we get, because we really care about you and your love story.

We also may be a bit Polaroid obsessed...

For those potential brides & grooms that may be reading this, if you want something that no other videographer can give you, then we are the wedding videographers for you!

XOXO

Hayway
