How To Have A Fun Vegas Wedding

"Turning 'I Do' into 'We Do': A Guide to Having Fun on Your Wedding Day"

Your wedding day is a celebration of love, commitment, and the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Amidst the excitement and anticipation, it's essential to make sure that you and your partner have a blast on this special day. While wedding planning can be stressful, it's crucial to remember that the ultimate goal is to enjoy every moment. Here's a guide on how to infuse fun into your wedding day, ensuring it's a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Plan Ahead but Stay Flexible:

Start by planning the details of your wedding day well in advance. Create a timeline, coordinate with vendors, and have a backup plan for unexpected situations. However, be prepared to go with the flow and embrace the spontaneity that can make your day even more memorable. For example, Bailey & Jesse were 45 minutes late to their elopement due to road closures from a marathon shutting down the Las Vegas strip, BUT they didn't let that get them down! They still had the best ceremony, did their first dance, got through the family photos, and more! Things were a little rushed in the chapel, but it all worked because they booked for a little extra time which gave them padding.

Personalize Your Celebration:

Inject your personalities into every aspect of your wedding. From the vows to the decor, make sure it reflects who you are as a couple. Consider incorporating shared hobbies, favorite colors, or inside jokes to make the day uniquely yours. For Bailey and Jesse, even though they were getting married at the little Sure Thing Chapel, they still did a beautiful choreographed first dance!

Include Interactive Elements:

Keep your guests engaged by including interactive elements throughout the day. Photo booths, games, and a dance floor are excellent ways to create a lively atmosphere. These activities not only entertain your guests but also ensure that everyone, including you, has a great time. Now eloping in Vegas may be a little different than the regular wedding so Bailey & Jesse had a fun party bus for the guest there and back, dinner at a restaurant that had entertainment during the meal, and the after party was tickets to Absinthe for everyone. It was an absolute blast for everyone, including grandma!

Capture Candid Moments:

While professional portraits are essential, don't forget to capture candid moments as well. Hiring a photographer for the day who excels at capturing spontaneous, joyful shots is going to add a lot to your final gallery. These candid photos will serve as precious reminders of the genuine emotions and fun you experienced on your wedding day. The biggest thing to remember though is that in order for them to capture those kinds of photos, you need to do those kinds of things! So remember to have fun, make moments happen, enjoy the day.

Create a Relaxing Environment:

Schedule breaks throughout the day to relax and soak in the moment. Whether it's a quiet moment with your partner or a brief escape from the festivities, taking time for yourselves will help you stay present and truly enjoy the day.

Food and Drink Options:

Ensure that your menu includes both your favorite dishes and options that cater to your guests' tastes. If you have signature cocktails or favorite desserts, incorporate them into the menu. A well-fed and hydrated couple is a happy couple!

Your wedding day is a celebration of the love you share and the journey you're embarking on together. By infusing fun into every aspect, you create an atmosphere that not only reflects your personalities but also ensures that everyone has a memorable time. So, let go of the stress, savor the moment, and dance into your happily ever after! Here are some of our favorite photos from Bailey and Jesse's wedding which was THE MOST fun! All shot on film ;)

XOXO,
